“Certain stereotypes are being broken: that only people with a certain profile can be actresses or be on the cover of magazines. Other faces of Mexico are now being recognised. It is something that makes me so happy and proud of my roots.”

If it wasn’t for that piano music Kingdom Hearts would be a comedy.

Yoko Shimomura is literally braver than any marine

When Nomura hands her the script for KH4 and she’s gotta figure out how to make Mickey dying in Noctis’ arms look anything but ridiculous with only her piano

Hawai’ian is not a word

It’s just Hawaiian

Why? Because Hawaiian is a colonized term. There is no -ian in ‘Ōlelo Hawai’i (the native language of Hawai’i) and does not follow the rules that ʻall consonants must be followed by a vowelʻ and ʻall words must end with a vowelʻ

Hawaiian refers to someone who was born or lives in Hawai’i regardless of race; they could be Polynesian, Asian, Portuguese, Hispanic, White, or a mixture

The correct term for a native Hawaiian is kanaka māoli, spelled exactly like that
